Every year, the Musee d’Art Contemporain in Montreal offers an exclusive cocktail party for a cultural and gastronomic discovery. This year, people had the chance to discover Leonard Cohen’s exhibition in an unforgettable way.
The first steps in the MAC maze displayed the world and talent of Leonard Cohen. An immense room with a couch in the middle displayed a raw but gripping documentary about his life and his vision of the world, of his world. Another room showcased a multitude of men signing his songs on life-size monitors, all put in a circle with a seat, and with an audio system so well-put that you could stand in front of the monitor and detach the voice from the signer in front on you from all the other voices echoing in the room.
The exhibition finished in a room where the party started late at night. Artists, entrepreneurs, art lovers and party lovers combined in this exclusive party in the hues or black and white swirling together.
On the first floor, a silent auction was displaying many different prices, from planes tickets to designer items.
All profits of the night were sent to the MAC Foundation. As you might remember, the Flanelle Book’s profit in January 2017 were all sent to the MAC foundation, which supports cultural activities, exhibition productions and educational programs.
