Pop Vocalist EVA’s new EP – Truthfully and first single – Honeycomb out now

Acclaimed pop vocalist and songwriter EVA announced today,  September 6, 2019, that her long-awaited self-released EP, Truthfully, is now available on all platforms.

In keeping with its first single, “Honeycomb” (released in June), Truthfully examines themes of self-love and self-exploration. It represents EVA’s first major step into the spotlight as a solo artist following her work as a key vocalist on Blood Orange’s career-defining Negro Swan and Angel’s Pulse tours. Co-written and produced with Eric Cross (aka Socialchair), and featuring additional production by Alex Vx, Computer Magic, and Danny L. Harle (Charli XCX, Carly Rae Jepsen, PC Music), Truthfully features EVA’s strongest work to date, incorporating bright, colorful hooks, future-forward production, and— as heard on “Last Drop,” the EP’s second single, released last month— an extraordinary gift for next-wave pop songcraft.

In addition to “Honeycomb” and “Last Drop,” the EP features six additional songs, including last summer’s hit “Touch Me” (released in August 2018) which The Fader hailed as “a bright, catchy ode to self-love.” and The New York Times called “a shimmery dance-floor ode to masturbation.”
