David Taylor is a designer with a special approach to creation. Most probably his singularity is linked to his education into fine arts and metal design. He engages in an artistic material process.
What I like about his work is his experimentation in all kinds of material. You can discover in his creations differents objects, made from a plastic materials structure. He works concrete and metal in different ways, giving a variety of texture and effects. He also composes different appearances into totems sculptures. The subtle side of his creations is surface treatment and contrast. The Desk lamp, candlestick or table lamp are amazing, reflections of the raw and poetic.
This projects are wonderfull useful sculpture.
