Shanghai-based jewelery brand BLACKHEAD is collaborating with Brooklyn based streetwear brand MISHKA in launching jewelery collection “KEEP WATCH”. This time the collaboration took MISHKA‘s most well-known “KEEP WATCH” design colliding with BLACKHEAD’s rebellious genes and creating a rebellious spiritual world.

Featuring various statement earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, and Cuban chains.

The collection merged two brands’ essences: BLACKHEAD’s design of letter “B” representing pursue of full self-expression and inclusion, and MISHKA’s iconic design of “Keep Watch” eyeball speaking for the brand’s soul of graffiti and street art.

BLACKHEAD’s core mission is to constantly challenge the defined world through bold and harmonious design to encourage young generations to bravely express themselves. Founded in 2012 when Chinese jewelry market hasn’t been familiar with the concept “unisex”, BLACKHEAD becomes one of the first Chinese gender-neutral accessory brand rooted in youth culture. “In China, most fashion items are labeled as either male or female”, said the Founder Black Liu, who is also a member of the LGBTQ+ community, “ I couldn’t find any jewelry that allows me to express my style freely”.

“I’ve been wearing my ring, “ Said Greg Rivera, Co-founder of Mishka, “it’s on my thumb and it really shows a secret side that only a few can understand. Yet through laminated eyes can see the truth. That is what I believe about this collaboration. The balance is perfect.” Mishka NYC is a streetwear company and record label founded in 2003 by Mikhail Bortnik and Greg Rivera. Featuring bright colors and grotesque but playful cartoon imagery. Mishka NYC’s most notable design is the “Keep Watch” eyeball and the “Bearmop” logo, a cartoon bear. MISHKA focuses on trendy art, especially graffiti illustration with diverse cultural elements that express individuality.

All metal materials are made of 100% recyclable eco-friendly 316L stainless steel that is not only durable yet pioneers the bold and free expressions by the two brands.
