Koché Fall-Winter 2023: Precise And More Intimate

Christelle Kocher has this one magical moment each fashion season, where an idea becomes a reality by pure intuition. This moment most often happens in the studio of Koché where all parts of the idea that was shaped in the mind comes together to become real clothing before the collection starts to travel elsewhere with the purpose to being shown during runways, presentations, photoshoots or to be worn by clients.

The Fall-Winter collection underlines this idea of intuition, inspiration and magical moments that are happening each season. All the images were shot in this exact studio where the idea of something creative comes to life. The studio does not only represents the creative source of Koché but also a place that feels more intimate and more real than a runway show with hundreds of people. So it was of importance for Kocher, to use this location as a creative place to find the idea behind the collection, create it but also show it.

This translated into a collection that is more precise and also more intimate. Knitwear is one of the key parts of the Fall-Winter collection. The material highlights the artisanal know-how and brings comfort into the collection. Dresses, which always have been one of Christelle Kocher’s signature garments, are also of importance this time: inspired by Madame Grès and Madame Vionnet, two french fashion designers, the dresses are timeless and contemporary with cuts that are more structured bringing a new dimension to the KOCHÉ aesthetic.

Finally, a motorcycle motif inspired by Alexandra Birchen, a German artist, is featured in the Fall-Winter 2023 collection, bringing edginess and an attitude to the garments. Haute Couture aspects such as Lemarié feathers on an organza’s mousseline and airtex base underlines KOCHÉ’s aim to create an alliance of couture flamboyance and modern attitude.
