For all fashion addicts on the hunt for up-and-coming designers, Donna Leah Designs has been a go-to brand since it hit the Miami scene several years ago.  The evening wear collection is known for its wearable trends, rich fabrics, metallic shine and flattering silhouettes.

Designer Donna Leah is embracing her love of evening gowns but wanted to create something that goes from day to night. To fulfill this vision, Donna Leah has launched a t-shirt dress collection aptly named the “Sizzle Series.”

Anyone who cares about building a capsule wardrobe filled with reliable pieces, understands the importance of having a dress that is an outfit on its own.  You just take it off the hanger put it on and have an instantly fabulous look.  There’s no need to agonize over coordinating separates or layered looks. With the Sizzle Series, it’s about being comfortable, effortless and elegant. It’s truly a look all on its own.

The Sizzle Series will be available exclusively on the brand’s website and will be available in six colors that embody the spirit of Miami.  Each color is reminiscent of a stunning sunset or energizing day at the beach.  In keeping with the luxe appeal of the brand, the new collection will start at $500.

“A t-shirt dress always looks polished, and because the wearer is so comfortable, they also look highly confident. It’s a style that has stood the test of time with updates that reflect the modern way in which we live.  Shirt dresses in general have been popular over the decades and have been interpreted by designers that span from being menswear inspired to extremely feminine.  There’s something about this style that’s perfect for the Miami scene,” says Donna Leah.

The Donna Leah Designs Sizzle Series features easy one-size-fits-all sizes which make for carefree wearing.  Each design is unique and because the fabric is highly detailed and plays with light and movement, while the jewel neckline and short sleeves create a sense of playfulness.

“The Sizzle Series is versatile. You can dress it up with a pair of heels or white boots, or tone it down with a pair of metallic sneakers.  It’s appropriate for lunch with friends or a night out on the town. Some will even wear it for a poolside cocktail hour or to the beach.  That’s what makes this collection truly about Miami from the colors of the dresses to the way they will be worn. They are fitting for all seasons and perfect for the woman that knows she deserves the best,” says Donna Leah.

“We are entering the spring and summer seasons and what better way to welcome this time of year than with a new dress collection. Dresses are the hero item of our closets. It’s instant chic and extremely comfortable, the best travel companion, and just a lot of fun! And if you don’t have a t-shirt dress as part of your core wardrobe, now is the time to jump right in!” says the designer.
