we were inspired by the story of “Mary, Queen of Scots”
and her tragic biography.

she cast off her black gown to reveal a red dress underneath, the shade of Catholic martyrdom, and had her neck hacked at least three times by the fumbling executioner.
we wanted to bring back to life her story in a new way.
