A Decade of Design Culminates in a Deeply Personal Collection

Magda Butrym’s Fall Winter 2025 collection, Magdalena, is more than a runway statement. It is an intimate self-portrait. Revealed at Paris Fashion Week, this milestone presentation marks a new creative era for the Polish designer. Drawing from her private name, Magdalena embodies raw self-expression while remaining unmistakably aligned with her brand’s identity.

Rooted in Slavic artistry, Butrym’s latest collection pays homage to the emotional depth of poetry and the craft of weaving, a central element of Polish culture. Inspired by the legacy of textile visionaries like Magdalena Abakanowicz and Paulina Ołowska, Butrym transforms the heritage of handwoven art into tactile, sculptural fashion. The collection’s key pieces, from an open knit tutu to a crochet veiled wedding gown, channel tradition through a modern lens. Delicate yet bold, sensual yet powerful.

This introspective approach extends beyond clothing. The show’s immersive space, crafted from 200 meters of handwoven fabric, mirrors the meticulous artistry behind each garment. Suspended in ethereal formations, the installation’s deep red hues recall the Enchanted Rose, a signature symbol of Butrym’s brand. As models move through this dreamlike setting, they embody the essence of the Magdalena woman. Fearless, instinctive, and deeply connected to her roots.

With this collection, Butrym steps into a more experimental, emotionally driven phase of her career, redefining femininity through craft and storytelling. See the full collection below.
