That feeling you get when you find that brand you absolutely love, when you are completely satisfied and want to rave to all of your friends about, is something we adore. Now we want to share that feeling with you. The Flanelle editors are bringing you their top brand of the month. It’s not an easy choice to make, but we’ve narrowed it down to just one each.

Here are the overall top brands that Flanelle’s editor-in-chief Sarah-Eve, and editorial assistant Morgan Leet, found this month.

Sarah-Eve, Editor-in-Chief

SASKIA DIEZ – Gold Ring

Perhaps this should be called the editor’s brand of the year, because I have worn the Gold Ring piece for every second of my life since acquiring it. Saskia Diez is one of a kind and one of my favorite European jewel brands. Combining bold and delicate is something that the designer has made possible somehow in both her statement-pieces and in her more delicate everyday-wear jewelry pieces. Since I only wear gold jewelry, my recommendations are all 18k carat gold; I had my eyes on the grand ring and the gold choker, and have found myself attracted to their ephemeral fake nose ring, although I have not yet purchased it.

Each piece from Saskia Diez is made locally with goldsmiths from either Munich, Pforzheim or Werne. Their materials are produced with 90% recycled precious metals, and their leftover metals are melted back to make new pieces. With sustainability, transparency and waste reduction in mind, you can’t help but feel absolutely good about each purchase from this designer.

BÉIS – The Mini Work Tote

Actress, model, and influencer Shay Mitchell coined the term Shaycation as she traveled around the world, then she made the luggage to match. As a follower of hers, I kept seeing her sleek branding everywhere, and because it is affordable I decided to give it a try when I was in search of a new work bag. I was so impressed with what I received, and especially for an affordable price. The Mini Work Tote is the perfect size to take with me everywhere but is full of compartments and pockets to fill all of my things (which I have a lot of). I chose the Black Croc color, which has a luxurious feel to it and pairs well with everything. They also have a Cognac Croc and plain black for a more simplistic look. If you need some extra room, the full-size Work Tote seems to have the same look and quality, just larger. It has a shoulder strap for longer treks, a removable zip pouch that carries my toiletries, and a padded laptop sleeve. My favorite part is the external pocket that turns into a trolley pass-through, so it fits securely on roller bags when you’re traveling.

The overall theme across her entire line seems to be detail. Because she’s an on-the-go working mom who travels, she has thought of every possible way to make her pieces organizable and efficient, but still very cute and stylish. When we can finally all go and travel again, you will most likely be seeing me strolling through the airport decked out in BÉIS luggage. Next on my list? The Weekender Bag.
